Dr. John William Collins graduated cum laude from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine, where he received specialized training in both wisdom teeth extractions and molar endodontics (root canals). Following his formal education, Dr. Collins began working as a general dentist in El Paso, Texas, providing excellent care to patients, young and old. He specializes in wisdom teeth removal, root canals, cosmetic dentistry, and is Level 3 sedation certified, allowing him to provide IV Sedation for patients who request it to manage dental anxiety and/or pain. Additionally, Dr. Collins worked as a faculty member at the Woody L. Hunt School of Dental Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in El Paso, Texas, where he loved teaching and mentoring future dentists.
Dr. Collins was born and raised in Utah, but has also lived in Louisiana, California, Nevada, and even spent two years in France. He is married to his wonderful wife, Eliza, with whom he shares two daughters, a son, and his favorite child, a Goldendoodle. The Collins family enjoys traveling, visiting national parks, golfing, hiking, skiing, and swimming. They are so happy to be back in Utah after many years away.
Dr. Collins, his wife Eliza, their three children, and their Goldendoodle love exploring new places together and are grateful to call Utah home again.
