Full mouth reconstruction, commonly referred to by patients and dentists as a “smile makeover,” is a series of treatments used to address a wide range of issues within a patient’s smile. Greg G. Pitts DDS sees many patients with several concerns in the appearance and function of their smile who are interested in hearing what solutions are available. Our team of professionals, can develop a treatment plan that helps anyone reconstruct their smile.

What can be achieved with full mouth reconstruction?

Some of the common issues that are seen in our practice include:

  • Tetracycline staining
  • Natural yellowing or discoloration of the teeth
  • Broken, chipped, cracked or decayed teeth
  • Misalignment or crooked teeth
  • Loose or lost teeth

With full mouth reconstruction, our team of professionals can change a patient’s life overnight. We cover all of the teeth with durable, strong cosmetic porcelain restorations, such as veneers or crowns, to dramatically enhance the smile with natural-looking repairs.

What can I expect from my smile makeover?

First, we take multiple photographs and digital scans of the mouth to create a base model. Then, we send the information to the lab and they create a diagnostic wax up; a model of the teeth to show the patient what can be achieved with full mouth reconstruction. Once the patient has decided to move forward with the treatment, our team will get them scheduled for their first appointment. The patient will come into the office for their appointment, with sedation if they choose, to have their temporary restorations placed. In the meantime, the lab will design and fabricate their custom restorations. A few weeks later the patient will return to our office for their final appointment to have their permanent restorations bonded in place. The entire smile makeover is complete with only two visits to our practice! Call the office of Greg G. Pitts DDS today!
