Invisalign

At Dr. Greg G. Pitts Dentistry in American Fork, we offer a variety of teeth-straightening options. Many of our orthodontia patients (especially adults) have straightened their teeth with Invisalign invisible braces.

As the name suggests, Invisalign clear braces are virtually unseen. No one will know that you are wearing braces as your teeth are gradually moved into place. The Invisalign system uses a set of custom-fitted progressive aligners. About every two weeks the patient replaces his or her current aligner with the next one in the series. Invisalign aligners are comfortable and removable. You can take them out for meals, brushing and flossing. With Invisalign clear braces, the treatment time is often shorter than with traditional metal braces and fewer office visits are needed.

The results are exceptional–Invisalign braces create gorgeous smiles. Some Invisilign clients follow up orthodontic treatment with Zoom Teeth Whitening for an even-more-dramatic transformation.

The Invisalign system used by Dr. Pitts is a great choice for many patients who want to correct their misaligned teeth. If you are considering orthodontic treatment, call PHONE or email EMAIL to schedule a consultation. You can discuss Invisalign with Dr. Pitts to determine if it would be effective for your teeth and compatible with your lifestyle.

Some teeth that appear crooked can be fixed without orthodontic treatment. Dr. Pitts skillfully uses porcelain veneers and other restorations to correct a multitude of flaws such as chips, cracks, stains and less-than-perfect tooth shape.

Dr. Pitts also diagnoses and treats bite problems (malocclusions). Overbites, underbites and crossbites can occur alone or in combination with crooked or crowded teeth. If you suspect you or your child has a bite problem, schedule an exam as soon as possible. Children with misaligned bites often have difficulty eating, speaking and maintaining effective oral hygiene. If left untreated, bite issues can cause related problems including headaches, TMJ pain, and tooth damage.
